The room at Vilas Maria was just perfect for someone like me who wants to be in touch with nature. It had a private bathroom with a bathtub and bidet, which made me feel like I was in a luxury retreat. The living room with a kitchenette and cable TV provided all the comfort I needed. The bedroom with two single beds and wardrobes gave me a cozy and homely feeling.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the seating area in certain rooms. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I know others might still find it relaxing.

The Levadas Walk, one of the most appreciated tourist attractions in Madeira, was just a stone's throw away from this charming hotel. Exploring the famous Levadas felt like stepping into a picturesque fairytale.

The location was peaceful and just a 10-minute drive from the marina, the staff were friendly and attentive, and I had a great stay both day and night, I've stayed here before and would recommend it.

We were absolutely blown away by the stunning exterior of the complex, with its beautiful flowers and well-maintained outdoor areas. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even providing us with a card and bottle of Madeira wine for my husband's birthday. The apartment itself was comfortable and functional, with a ceiling fan that worked like a charm. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals, and the full-sized fridge was a bonus. The daily visits from the cheerful and helpful cleaning lady were a delight. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby shops and a short bus ride away from the WONDERFUL Funchal center. We loved that there was an access point to a levada walk just across the road. The nearby restaurants were fantastic, with the Flame Tree offering delicious food just a short walk away. we can't recommend this place enough - it exceeded all our expectations and we are already planning our next visit.
